One accommodation option is the apartment in a residence.
The residence is one big typical Berlin Altbau building located in a quiet neighborhood not far from Berlink’s office and the city center. The building is just a short walk away from the nearest S-Bahn station, which allows you to reach the city center in just 15 minutes. The residence has more than 40 apartments, each of them has one or two bedrooms, a shared kitchen and a bathroom. Usually students are accommodated in double, triple or quadruple rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen, whereas teachers in individual or twin rooms with private bathroom and kitchen.
Bed sheets and small towels are included and a full cleaning of the apartment, as well as towels and bed sheets change, is carried out every 14 days by the residence’s staff. Participants are invited to take care of cleaning the dishes and throw away the trash regularly.
There is a laundry room which can be used at extra costs.
Wi-fi is included in all apartments.
On request, the residence provides a buffet breakfast.
Another accommodation option is the hostel.
One of our hostel is located in the very central and lively neighborhood of Kreuzberg. The students will be accommodated in double, triple, or quadruple rooms with private bathroom. Teachers can also be accommodated in private single rooms with bathrooms. Bed sheets as well as towels are included.
On request , the hostel offers Bed and Breakfast, Half Board (breakfast and warm dinner) and Full Board (breakfast, packed lunch and warm dinner) options.
Guests are allowed to use the common kitchen if they want to cook for themselves.
Another hostel we propose is located in the multicultural neighborhood of Neukölln.
The students will be accommodated in triple, quadruple or 8-bed rooms. Each room is provided with a private bathroom (2 bathrooms in the 8-bed rooms). Teachers can be accommodated in single rooms with private bathrooms. Bed sheets are included, however towels must be rented for a small price by the guests.
On request , the hostel offers Bed and Breakfast, Half Board (breakfast and warm dinner) and Full Board (breakfast, packed lunch and warm dinner) options.
Groups that prefer to stay at a hotel have this option as well.
Our small and comfortable hotel is located in a quiet area a little outside of Berlin’s central area, but very well connected with local transport.

The host families we are working with are various and they represent a large sample of lifestyles: Some of them are living in an apartment flat in the hippie district, some of them own a house in the suburbs. There are families, single parents, or even grandparents with children that expat somewhere else. Some of them speak multiple languages and have a multicultural background, others are living in Berlin throughout generations and can tell you amazing stories. Living in a host family in Berlin is definitely enriching in so many aspects!
